On its official full-length album debut, the Berlin-based solo project von jeglichem wort creates soundscapes on the frontier of various ambient and black metal styles that elude every common categorization. The instrumental approach sets it apart from most laptop ambient electronics acts: the sonic bedrock is generated by analog means. Guitars calibrated with early 90s black metal build the foundation for all tracks, which are then alienated through various creative processes, resulting in impressive walls of sound that barely give away their initial source.
